Finding the Car
Finding this car felt a little like finding a piece of the past that had somehow survived untouched. I had been searching for a while, but almost every fourth generation Prelude that came up had already been changed, neglected, or eaten away by rust, especially around the sunroof. Then one appeared on Facebook Marketplace only five minutes from home, owned by one woman for roughly 30 years, and I knew I had to go and see it straight away.
It was a completely stock 1995 Prelude S with the 2.2 litre automatic setup that was offered in Australia at the time. Within the first few minutes of standing beside it, I had already made up my mind. The interior had been cared for beautifully, it still had the original cassette head unit, and what really stopped me in my tracks was the sunroof, because on a car like this, seeing one with no rust at all almost felt unreal.

Even the bushings and all the small details told the same story: this was not just an old car, it was a car that had been looked after properly, and I knew almost immediately that I was taking it home.
Purchased the car and took it home. It still had that familiar smell and original cassette deck. The automatic transmission and 2.2 litre single overhead cam engine did not do the chassis the justice and potential I knew it had, but that was all about to change.

The Pros for the car: No noticeable rust Interior is clean in very decent condition for a 30 year old car Engine still running strong Bushings still in good condition
The Cons: Front and rear bumper sag Air conditioning not working Power steering leak Dashboard clock not working Some dents here and there on the side of the door, roof No ABS
TLC
Took the car in for some PDR.

Then removed the old tint and new tint installed
